Forgot the plug-in card for registration – what to do?
I forgot my plug-in card, where my arrival time and the time I leave at the company are noted. Well what do I do now ?? Can I go to the boss so that he can add that? Has never happened to me, don’t want to lose my overtime 🙁 .. I’m angry.
You are definitely not the first to see this happen. Will happen to your colleagues again and again. In my company with around 30 people, it happens almost every week that someone forgets to stamp or stamps incorrectly.
Go to your boss and ask them to fill in the correct times. That’s nothing bad.
Thank you for the asterisk!
There is probably a solution for such emergencies. But an outsider cannot know that. Perhaps the works council will also help you if you cannot currently find anyone.
In any case, you should take notes on today’s daily routine at work.
That must be arranged somehow with you, so just ask (the secretary will probably know that). We have a slip of paper that you fill out, the boss signs and then you go to the personnel office.
Be glad it’s just the stamp card for you. With us you can’t even get to the company premises without the card, and you have to open some doors within the company with it. If you forget that, you are actually completely lost.
Yes, your supervisor can add that or have it added.
The stamp cards are usually hanging next to the time clock! What is she doing at home? It is company property and you are not allowed to take it with you. I would give you notice immediately !
No, we can take them with us – we paid for them in advance … so like a deposit!
Fortunately everything is already settled, without dismissal 🙂
I got in trouble from my boss at work today because I had planned a vacation for August. Since my colleague also wanted to go on vacation there and I’ve never had a two-week vacation for years, she must have complained to the boss and was so cowardly and didn’t even come up with the conversation.
my boss said how i would like to take a vacation in august. I am now totally pissed off and sad and would like to leave the juice shop .
what can i do ?
I am training as a medical assistant at the ENT doctor.
My boss always does acupuncture in the afternoons from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and he gives every 7 patients an appointment for 4:30 p.m. and 3 patients an appointment for 5:30 p.m. The patients come and then have to wait a long time for their turn. He takes 25 minutes for acupuncture for each patient.
Now our doctor wants us to work overtime until 7 p.m. because we still have patients. He just can’t plan appointments properly and when we plan appointments we get into trouble about why the patients are there so early.
I spoke to him about overtime and he yelled at me that as an mfa you don’t get overtime because I work in the medical field and until the last patient is gone I have to work for my boss in training for free. I always have only a 1 hour break and sometimes only a 35 minute break because of my boss because we still have patients and he always complains when I take my break and don’t do the instruments during my break.
His favorite saying is, you are finished either way, whether it is at 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. You have to stay until the last patient is gone ”.
What rights do I have ?
Do I have to work overtime? If so, he has to pay me off?
Do I have to sacrifice my break? While he is taking a break himself ?
My boss is a very stingy person, he just wants to save money.
I’m about 5 minutes late for work and that will certainly cause trouble from the employee. Fortunately, the boss isn’t there, I hope. I bought something to eat at net ..
What should I say best? I overslept or forgot my pill or my mum called me again.
In my employment contract it says my working hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. start with a 1 hour lunch break. My colleagues in the office always stay an hour longer every day, sometimes even 2. They always ask me to stay longer than the contract. Recently someone said: how are you going now?
You could stay longer. It was 10 after 5. Of course, sometimes I stay longer when there is something more to do. I usually go around 10 past 5 when I’ve finished everything. The others said they worked overtime every day, otherwise they would get into trouble with the boss because it wasn’t finished on time.
How should I behave? Overtime is paid.
I’ve only forgotten it once at work in all the years. So of course I didn’t get in any trouble. There are also some who forget about it regularly.
It is of course an enormous effort to post all of this. Now the boss came last and said that whoever does not stamp will receive a warning in the future. Would that be justified.
Then those would be disadvantaged who might have forgotten only once. If you say you’ve forgotten, it’s not a fraud.
A friend has accumulated a lot of overtime because she jumped in more often. She was sick for two weeks and had also submitted a sick note for this period. Today she looked at the duty roster and discovered that it was not her illness but leisure time that was noted. At the time, however, she was so sick that something nice to do or nothing to think about was possible.
So she was trapped and bound by her illness at that time. Is it even legal to enter the time off in lieu for this period? She had no free time!
Just to reduce overtime, you can’t just add something to the roster, right? Can she insist on a correct entry in the roster? In addition, she misses 14 days as free time compensation that she would be entitled to.
I’ve been a permanent employee in a company for three years. My boss always comes up with new ideas, but this time he goes too far in my opinion.
Since February we have new contracts with 40 hours a week + fixed wages. Before that, we got an hourly rate.
The contract expressly states that overtime is only allowed with the agreement of the boss and if so, the accumulated hours must be taken as free.
But now. should we work overtime, the overtime is also paid after 3 months and (which makes me really angry) are the holidays that should be reworked.
This year there are 9 public holidays on a weekday and we should work on these 9 public holidays by working on Saturdays during the week..
What then are public holidays with a work ban? If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, I don’t get an extra day credited.
And what then the new 40h contract if it is not kept anyway?
I’m not upset that there is no overnight train stroke, but reworking the holidays makes me doubt whether I should work somewhere else..
Thank you for your answers 🙂
Hello dear community,
I am in my 2nd year of training as an industrial clerk and am currently working with a project manager on an important project for the company. I’ve already worked over 50 hours this week. My tasks were / are not properly explained to me and if I make a mistake, I get straight into trouble. In the meantime I can hardly sleep at night because it bothered me a lot and my grades in vocational school are also falling a lot as a result.
PS: We don’t have a works council. What can I do here? What are my rights?
Hi guys, I’m w, and I’m training to be a bakery saleswoman, 2 years of training. Need your help. Yesterday the boss carried some cake tins to the sink and placed it somewhere on the floor where nobody could see it.
I didn’t think anything about it either and thought he didn’t say anything to me that I have to do this, but I could rinse / clean it later. I had so many other things to do that I somehow forgot about it and no longer thought that I could wash these cake tins. At half past six me and my work colleague finished the late shift and the dishwasher was already switched off and she saw this cake pan and then I saw everything asked why I didn’t flush my answer sorry I forgot and the boss didn’t say anything. Now I’m scared to go to work today because I’m afraid he’ll scold me again. Or that my work colleague scolds me too.
It wasn’t on purpose but I somehow forgot about it and I didn’t mean it and now I’m probably going to get in trouble. How can I forget my fear or somehow hide it? What can I do?
Is that bad?
We have such a program at work. You can apply for leave and a colleague has to confirm it. Then it goes to the boss and he books the order.
In any case, I applied for leave yesterday, my colleague confirmed it today, but I don’t know whether my boss booked it. I forgot to look and am now on my way home.
Actually he should, there is nothing against giving me vacation. Because of the whole Corona thing, we should even take some vacation and reduce overtime.
I have my boss’s private number because he often text me on Whatsapp. I could ask him, but I don’t know if that’s going to be stupid. Now it’s over and I don’t want to bother him.
I had a test in German today and was picked up and at first I overlooked the car and then forgot that my sister is now at my school and she can go with me because I usually wait three hours for my school bus because they are too lazy to pick me up.
And I was so satisfied, worked a lot and for a long time and just completely forgot about them. I only noticed when she wrote me that the bus was coming earlier.
That makes me a bad person?
At least she could have spoken to me and we would have clarified it immediately. My mother didn’t even notice at first, so it’s fine if I forget for a good reason.
We don’t speak at all and are all loners.
Got in trouble for not clearing it up?
I get in trouble for every crap even though it wasn’t in my best interest? What can I do about it?
I’ve spanked it now and nobody dies from it.
I had an interview, it is now decided between me and someone else who will have another turn on Tuesday (Comment from the boss: “I have a very good feeling! The other person should surprise me very much that something about my decision changes!” I think this will be something).
Now to my problem: I have just come from a very small company and have only had bad experiences with it (a lot of unpaid overtime, no vacation cover, generally pure stress) and I actually made up my mind never to go to such a mini-company again. In the new company there are only 4 employees (with me or the other new 5). The conversation made a great impression on me, I really want to work there! Do any of you have experience working in such a small company?
Is it so stressful and bad everywhere? Please take away my worries! : D.
What can I do if my boss doesn’t want to pay vacation for a mini job. If necessary, I will resign and sue for the vacation. But there are still about 10 employees who are also affected.
They are afraid because they depend on the job and don’t want to lose it. No one has ever got paid for vacation. I know it is forbidden, but what can be done to have this matter checked. The mini job center recommends complaining about vacation. Most of them don’t do that because they want to keep the job.
To which authority could it be reported that the matter will be settled for everyone? Can the boss be shown? After all, it’s a fraud, or am I wrong?
I’ll tell you briefly about my problem.
So: I’m just doing my apprenticeship and changed department a good six months ago (I’m still in my first year of training). Now I’m in sales (car dealership) and the first trainee ever to sell cars in the company, thanks to the boss.
Now to the problem: I get snapped at by my boss all the time for things that I don’t even know, every day. Sometimes I don’t feel like coming to work anymore, because I know that I’ll be turned on again anyway. Others in the company have also noticed it and they are sometimes snapped at.
but what should i do, because i really enjoy being in sales and the work colleagues (except the boss) are all great, so i have never had better colleagues in a company.
i am really at a loss, sometimes i would just like to change departments or even quit.
